In 2007 Lynn Hershman spoke about Tina Modotti with Elena Poniatowska, author of 'Tinisima' (1992), a novelized biography based on Modotti's life. In the video below Elena speaks about how Tina was perceived by people in Mexico City when she first lived there in the 1920s, as well as her influence on Manuel Álvarez Bravo and her teacher and lover, Edward Weston.
